John Chipponeri is a retired business leader, coach, and personal development mentor based in San Rafael, California. Raised in a large Sicilian family in Ceres, California, John grew up with strong values of hard work, perseverance, and community. Excelling both academically and athletically, he graduated valedictorian of his high school while also earning recognition as an all-star football and baseball player. John went on to graduate with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, earning a B.S. in Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering, where he was inducted into Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society. Later, he earned his MBA, blending technical expertise with leadership and business skills. John enjoyed a distinguished 30+ year career with Chevron, where he managed projects up to $3 billion and held roles ranging from Facilities Engineer to Senior Project Manager. His assignments took him across the globe, including California, Louisiana, Michigan, Indonesia, Texas, and Australia, sharpening his technical expertise and leadership skills on an international stage. Today, John is focused on Enneagram studies, men’s work, and recovery support, alongside coaching in athletics including swimming, triathlon, and pickleball. He continues to lead through service, creating spaces for growth, healing, and connection.
